Hanwha Vision TNO-C3060T is a QVGA AI thermal network camera with a 384 × 288 uncooled microbolometer, 35 mm fixed F1.0 lens, and video output up to 768 × 576 at 30 fps. It combines thermal imaging, person and vehicle analytics, radiometric monitoring, secure network functions, and rugged IP66/IP67, IK10, and NEMA 4X protection for demanding installations.

Technical Context

The uncooled thermal sensor detects long-wave infrared energy in the 8–14 µm range, enabling imaging independently of visible-light conditions. A NETD of ≤20 mK improves sensitivity to small temperature differences, while the 35 mm F1.0 lens supports long-range observation. Thermal palettes, radiometric ROI monitoring, and AI-based object classification help distinguish relevant people or vehicles and support temperature-related alarms. H.265/H.264 compression with WiseStream II and WiseStream III reduces bandwidth and storage requirements while maintaining useful thermal detail.

According to Johnson’s criteria, the camera provides detection distances of up to 1,230 m for people and 3,144 m for vehicles, with recognition distances of up to 308 m and 786 m respectively.

 

Installation Notes

The camera measures Ø107.3 × 275 mm and weighs approximately 2,370 g. It supports IEEE 802.3af PoE Class 3 or 12 V DC power, with maximum consumption of 10.8 W via PoE or 9.4 W via DC. The operating temperature range is −40°C to +60°C with 0–95% non-condensing humidity. Pan, tilt, and rotation adjustment ranges are 0–350°, 0–90°, and 0–350°. The minimum object distance is 36.1 m. The Micro USB Type-B port is intended for preview and installation and requires a Wi-Fi dongle.
