Product Overview

The Hanwha XNO-6120R/LPR is a 2MP Full HD (1080p) license plate recognition camera designed for low-speed traffic monitoring up to 35 MPH, suitable for parking lots, gates, and drive-thru lanes. It delivers up to 60 fps performance with a 12x optical zoom lens (5.2–62.4 mm) and a horizontal field of view from 54.58° to 5.30°.

Key Features

2MP LPR bullet camera with a 1/2.8" CMOS sensor, 150dB WDR, and IR illumination up to 70 m (with readable plate distance up to 65 ft). It supports defog, LDC, hallway view, 24x digital zoom, and up to 300 presets for flexible monitoring. Analytics include LPR-focused functions such as tracking, directional detection, loitering, tampering, motion detection, and audio detection. It supports up to 10 streaming profiles with 20 users, WiseStream II compression, and USB/CVBS outputs for installation setup. Security includes HTTPS, 802.1X, IP filtering, and ONVIF Profile S/G compliance with SUNAPI support.

Technical Context

Built for low-speed LPR applications with on-camera processing, eliminating the need for an external server. The 12x optical zoom (5.2–62.4 mm) enables narrow-angle capture for accurate plate recognition at a distance, while 60 fps performance supports vehicles moving up to 35 MPH. It includes 150dB WDR for challenging lighting at gates and parking areas, plus digital auto tracking to follow vehicles through the scene. The camera is IK10 rated and includes a backbox for installation. 

Installation Notes

Dark gray aluminum LPR bullet camera (Ø91.0 × 368.6 mm, 2.18 kg) designed for harsh outdoor environments, operating from −40°C to +55°C with startup above −35°C and humidity tolerance below 90% RH. It supports flexible power options, including 24V AC, 12V DC, or PoE (IEEE 802.3af Class 3). Installation is simplified with CVBS and USB ports for on-site setup, and it is compatible with single, double, and 4" octagon gangboxes. Mounting requires following the Quick Start Guide, with recommended consultation from a Hanwha engineer before installation.
