WI-WR796-BE is a Wi-Fi 7 BE9600 tri-band router designed for high-speed home, office, and multi-device networks. It supports IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be across the 2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz bands, with wireless rates up to 1030Mbps, 2880Mbps, and 5760Mbps respectively. Multi-Link Operation, MU-MIMO, OFDMA, 4K-QAM, 320MHz channels, EasyMesh, and a 10Gbps WAN port support high throughput, low latency, and flexible network expansion.

Technical Context

Multi-Link Operation allows compatible clients to use multiple bands or links simultaneously, helping reduce latency and improve connection reliability. OFDMA divides channels into resource units for efficient multi-client communication, while MU-MIMO supports parallel spatial streams. 4K-QAM increases the amount of data carried per symbol, and the 320MHz channel width on 6GHz provides additional capacity for high-throughput applications.

 

Installation Notes

The router requires a 12V/2.5A DC power supply. Connect the upstream Internet service to the multi-gigabit WAN port and wired devices to the four Gigabit LAN ports. Operating temperature is 0°C to 40°C with 5%-95% typical humidity.
