For the increasing need to install networks everywhere, PLANET has created a solar-powered PoE switch, which is an ideal solution. Powered by the sun's rays, the BSP-300 incorporates PWM (Pulse Width Modulated) charge controllers to effectively force the solar panels to the same voltage as the battery operates at during charging. The BSP-300 can power high-performance PoE devices anywhere – without any geographical barriers.
By combining IEEE 802.3at PoE technology and power supply from solar panels, it makes the BSP-300 an ideal solution for those who need a fast connection that is characterized by great flexibility and reliability, e.g. in the case of long-distance wireless connections. The BSP-300 makes expanding your network much easier.
Easily deploy a high-performance PoE network
The BSP-300 has two IEEE-802.3at Gigabiot PoE sockets, which allows you to power devices such as access points or IP cameras. The BSP-300 enables data transmission and IP monitoring in remote locations. Just plug and play, wireless LAN networks or IP-based surveillance systems can be set up very easily without unnecessary cabling.
Carbon-free power
BSP-300 uses sunlight to power devices, works with nickel-cadmium or lead-acid batteries, thanks to which you can create an independent power supply system for external installations. BSP-300 provides electricity generated without carbon dioxide emissions and allows for uninterrupted power supply to the installation without the need for additional wiring. This system saves up to 100% of power loss for users. It can power devices and charge simultaneously during the day, while at night it uses the energy stored in the battery.
