Long-Distance Data and Power Transmission

The LRP-101CE is a single-port 802.3at PoE+ Extender that network administrators can install at a remote location that connects to network applications such as a PoE-enabled IP camera or a wireless AP. The LRP-101CE is compatible with Planet’s single-port Long Reach PoE Injector or Multiple-channel Long Reach PoE Switch to be able to simultaneously transmit both data and power to a PD over distances of up to 1,000m (3,280ft) over coaxial cable. The LRP-101CE provides a maximum of 25-watts of power per PoE port and supports 802.3af/at compliant devices.

Planet’s Long Reach PoE solution gives users the flexibility to expand small area networks with BNC T-connectors to share up to four nodes per port when needed. Please note the PoE power budget of the Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE).

Power over Existing Coaxial Cable

A normal UTP cable can only extend up to 100 meters. The LRP-101CE, when working with a LRP Injector or LRP Switch, can extend PoE networking up to 1,000 meters (3,280ft) over 75 ohm coaxial cable and deliver stable, high-quality video transmission. The unit eliminates the need for installing an additional electrical outlet.

Wide Temperature Range

Planet’s Long Reach PoE Extender is ideal for providing extended data and power transmission for warehouses, parking lots, campuses, casinos, and other enterprise environments. The unit operates in extreme temperature environments ranging between -20 to 70°C.

Plug-n-Play Installation

The LRP-101CE features a plug and play installation with diagnostic LEDs on the front panel that show the operating status of the individual ports and networking system.
