Media Converter Chassis
The MC-1610MR48 from Planet Technology is a cost effective unit that features a redundant power supply system. The unit houses 16 media converters within a 19 inch chassis. The unit allows FTTx installation and can be utilized with FST-8 / GST-7 / GST-8 series media converters from Planet Technology.
Central Management Functions
Users can manage the status of media converters simply through a web browser or through the RS-232 console port. Users have the ability to monitor the status of converters with the unit’s user friendly display functions.
Power Redundant Design
The MC-1610MR48 features DC -48V power supply unit along with a spare power supply unit slot for the optional installation of 100~240V AC or DC -48V redundant power supply. The unit’s continual power system is crafted to meet the demands of locations that require stable high power. The -48V DC power supply also makes the unit ideal for the telecom level.
Versatility For Extension
The MC-1610MR48 allows for each converter to be hot-swappable without interruption of other converters. The unit offers conversion between copper to FX, SX and LX optic models for distances from 220m to 120 kilometers.
