The MC-700 offers 7 slots in a 10 inch rack design which ensures versatility for users. The cost effective MC-700 provides a space saving solution for fiber-optic wiring and simple media conversion maintenance. The unit provides connection for 7 Ethernet, Fast Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet or VDSL2 media converters from Planet Technology in a single chassis. The unit provides a built-in fan for system cooling that displays a status monitored by the unit’s LED indicators.

Simple Plug and Play Installation

The MC-700 showcases a flexible solution to ensure the installation of media converters. The unit features an independent power supply in each slot, which allows all converters plugged into the unit to be hot-swappable. This ensures that there is no interruption to other converters. Media converters can be installed any time with plug and play technology. The MC-700 supports any media converter from Planet Technology of the FT, GT, VC-20x or ICS series.
