The EDKS-1GEA-RRSG is a device designed to interrupt power to a PoE++ IP device. It is typically used to enable/ disable IP cameras for privacy and confidentiality purposes. Applications include interview rooms, Interrogation rooms, hospital rooms and patient exam rooms. The EDKS-1GEA-RRSG is placed in-line with the IP device’s CAT5/6 Ethernet cable. When the switch is in the 'on' position, the LED on the EDKS-1GEA-RRSG is not lit and the IP camera is connected to the Network switch. When the switch is placed in the 'off' position, the LED is lit and the IP device is disconnected.
