The EDKS-4 is a device designed to interrupt the power and streaming of data from up to 4 a IP cameras or other Ethernet connected devices The EDKS-4 is placed in-line with the end device's CAT5 Ethernet cable. When 12Vdc power is applied to the EDKS-4 terminal block, the end devices are disconnected from the network switch. When power is removed, the end devices are on-line. A switch can be mounted on the wall of the room along with an external power source to trigger the EDKS-4. Other equipment that outputs a 12vdc 100ma power source can also be used to trigger the EDKS-4.
