The PCKS is a device designed to locally interrupt the power and streaming of data from an IP camera for privacy and confidentiality purposes. Typical applications are in interview rooms, interrogation rooms, hospital rooms and patient exam rooms. The PCKS is placed in-line with the camera's CAT5 Ethernet cable. When 12Vdc power is applied to the PCKS terminal block the camera is connected to the network switch. When power is removed, the camera is disconnected. A switch can be mounted on the wall of the room along with an external power source to trigger the PCKS. Other equipment that outputs a 12vdc 25ma power source can also be used to trigger the PCKS.
