STW1-C5 Speaker / Microphone Placement

Locate the STW1-C5 as close as possible to the area of interest in the space to be monitored. If a large area is to be monitored, locate the STW1-C5 in the middle of the space if possible. Do not mount the STW1-C5 near air conditioning vents, light fixtures or electrical equipment. The STW1-C5 operates optimally at a distance of 3-5 feet from the subject(s) to be monitored. The STW1-C5 is still useable in the range of 15-25 feet but is dependent on the level of background noise in the area. Experimentation in the environment will determine what distances work best.
