PoE Gigabit Injector

The POE-152 from Planet Technology is a dependable IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet Injector that offers DC 48V power over Ethernet cables. The unit injects powerful DC Voltage into a single Cat.5 cable, which allows for the transfer of data and power at the same time. The maximum distance between the POE-152 injector and POE-152S-5V/12V splitter is a distance of 100 meters.

When the POE-152 is installed, the unit blends Ethernet data and power over twisted pair cables and operates as a IEEE 802.3af PoE Injector. This allows the PoE splitter to separate data and power into two separate outputs. The POE-152 includes 1000Mbps Gigabit Ethernet connection ability, which is a feature most injectors do not have. However, the POE-152 does not provide ability for 10/100Mbps Fast Ethernet connection. When IEEE 802.3af PoE devices are installed, administrators only need to utilize a single RJ-45 Ethernet cable.

This allows for power and data to be sent to devices.Users also have the ability to save costs, plan networks efficiently, and have stable connection and reliability. When any IEEE 802.3af devices are installed, the POE-152 independently or with the connection of the POE-152S-5V/12V splitter, makes a connection while splitting power and Ethernet digital packets.
