The LRP-101U-KIT is a Single-Port PoE over UTP Extender Kit that features long range data and power transmission for distances of up to 500m (1,640ft.) over UTP cable. The LRP-101U-KIT provides a simple plug-n-play operation. The LRP-101U can operate in extreme environments with wide temperatures ranging from -20 to 70°C. The LRP-101U-Kit simplifies the installation of network applications with PoE technology.
Composition of Long Reach PoE over UTP Extender Kit
The LRP-101U-KIT consists of a Long Reach PoE injector and a Long Reach PoE extender set which can be paired to function anywhere on your network infrastructure. It includes the:
The LRP-101UH transmits data and power over a UTP cable to the LRP-101UE up to 500m distances. The unit will then deliver data and up to a maximum of 25 watts of power to a PoE-enabled PD via an Ethernet cable. These 2 units are enclosed in a metal encasement and can be wall-mounted in tight enclosures.
Long-Distance Capacity
The LRP-101U-KIT can extend PoE networking up to 500 meters (1,640ft.) over a 4-pair UTP cable or up to 300 meters (1,000ft.) over an existing 1-pair twisted-pair cable, such as telephone wire and deliver high-quality video transmission. The unit eliminates the need for additional power sources and relies on a single power source to provide power to both LRP extenders and the PoE IP camera at long range.

Plug-n-Play Installation
PLANET’s Long Reach PoE Extender Kit can be used immediately without configuration. Its rich diagnostic LEDs on the front panel show the operating status of each individual port and the whole system, enabling the administrator to efficiently manage the network.
The Long Reach PoE solution is designed to extend IP Ethernet transmission and inject power simultaneously into a remote 802.3af/at PoE compliant powered device (PD) beyond the 100 meters distance limit of Ethernet.
