Technical Context

Designed to act as the head-end master node, this device pairs across the line with a separate LRP-101UE remote extender. It accepts dual-source power inputs via an RJ45 connection from an upstream 802.3af/at switch or an external 48–56V DC line. When driven by a 56V input, it supplies a 30W PoE threshold between 100–300m, which drops to an 18W ceiling at 500m, or transitions into a data-only connection stretching up to 1000m.


Installation Notes

Weighing 193g (0.43 lb) and measuring 94 × 70 × 26 mm, the compact metal housing supports wall mounting or optional DIN-rail deployment. It operates from -20°C to 70°C (5–95% non-condensing humidity) and tolerates storage environments from -40°C to 75°C. Diagnostics are handled via a 4-LED green array tracking Power (PWR), Long Reach PoE Link (LRP LNK), PoE Input Status (PoE IN), and Ethernet Activity (LNK/ACT).
