The Planet GSW-2824P is an unmanaged Gigabit PoE+ switch featuring 24 10/100/1000BASE-T PoE+ ports with a 250W budget, 2 Gigabit copper ports, and 2 1000BASE-X SFP slots, all backed by a 56 Gbps switching fabric. It includes a DIP switch for Standard (100m), VLAN (port isolation), and Extend (250m at 10Mbps with 20W PoE) modes, plus PD alive check for automatic power recycling of unresponsive devices, all housed in a 1U rackmount chassis.

This unmanaged PoE+ switch delivers a 250W budget across 24 ports, powering up to 24 devices at 7W, 16 at 15.4W, or 8 at 30W. A DIP switch offers three modes: Standard (100m), VLAN (port isolation), and Extend (250m at 10Mbps with 20W PoE) for remote camera deployments beyond standard 100m limits. PD alive check automatically recycles power to unresponsive devices.
The switch features 2 SFP slots for fiber uplinks up to 120km, an 8K MAC table, jumbo frame support up to 9216 bytes, and Energy-Efficient Ethernet (IEEE 802.3az). Housed in a 1U rackmount metal chassis (207.3 × 441.5 × 44 mm, 3022g) with two thermal fans, it operates from 0–50°C with 5–95% RH and stores from -10–70°C, backed by contact 6KV / air 8KV ESD and ±6KV surge protection.
Powered by 100–240V AC at 5A, the switch consumes up to 278W max. LEDs indicate Power, per-port 10/100 (Amber), 1000 (Green), PoE-in-Use (Amber), and SFP link/activity (Green). The unit is TAA compliant and carries FCC Part 15 Class A and CE certifications, with a rackmount kit included.
