Planet GS-4210-24PL4C is a managed Gigabit PoE+ switch with 24 802.3at PoE+ ports (440W budget) and 4 Gigabit TP/SFP combo ports, delivering 56Gbps switch fabric. Features IPv6/IPv4 dual stack, intelligent PoE functions (PD alive check, schedule, power recycling, usage monitoring, Extend mode up to 250m), CloudViewer app, and smart fan design.
• Copper ports: 24 × 10/100/1000BASE-T PoE+ (ports 1–24), 4 × 10/100/1000BASE-T combo (ports 25–28).
• SFP slots: 4 × 100/1000BASE-X SFP (shared with ports 25–28).
• PoE budget: 440W at 25°C / 380W at 50°C; per-port output up to 52V DC, 30.8W max.
• Switch fabric: 56Gbps non-blocking; throughput: 41.67 Mpps.
• Dimensions: 440 × 300 × 44.5 mm (1U); weight: 4814 g.
This managed switch delivers a 440W PoE budget across 24 ports, powering up to 14 devices at 30W or 24 at 15.4W. Extend mode enables 250m transmission at 10Mbps with 36W output, while PD alive check auto-recycles power to unresponsive devices. It also supports scheduled PoE on/off, recycling, and usage monitoring, with derating from 440W @ 25°C to 380W @ 50°C. Max consumption is 544W (1856 BTU), cooled by 3 smart fans with ESD protection of 4KV/8KV.
The switch features IPv6/IPv4 dual stack, VLAN (802.1Q with 256 groups, Q-in-Q, voice, protocol, private VLAN), and link aggregation (8 groups, 8 ports each). Multicast uses IGMP v2/v3 snooping and MLD v1/v2, while QoS offers 8 priority queues with strict/WRR scheduling. Security includes 802.1X, RADIUS/TACACS+, DHCP snooping, IP source guard, ARP inspection, and ACLs. Four combo SFP ports support copper/fiber uplinks up to 120km with SFP-DDM.
The 1U metal chassis (440 × 300 × 44.5 mm, 4814g) operates at 0-50°C with 5-95% RH and stores at -20-70°C. Management options include Web, Telnet, SNMP v1/v2c/v3, SSH, SSL, and the CloudViewer app for remote access. A console port (RS232-to-RJ45, 115200) and reset button are provided, with LEDs for PWR, SYS, LNK/ACT, PoE, 1000, FAN Alert, and PoE PWR Alert. TAA compliant.
