The Planet LRE-104 is a 4-port Long Reach Ethernet extender with 4 × 10/100BASE-TX RJ45 ports and a UTP/BNC combo interface for flexible RJ45 or coax connection. It extends Ethernet transmission up to 800 m over Cat5, 1200 m over phone wire, and up to 2000 m over coaxial cable (RG-6/U or RG-59/U). It supports Master/Slave mode via DIP switch, 128-bit AES encryption, and IEEE 1901 with Wavelet-OFDM modulation for stable long-distance data transmission.
The LRE-104 extends Ethernet beyond 100 m, supporting up to 800 m over Cat5, 1200 m over phone wire, and 2000 m over coaxial cable. It enables daisy-chaining via BNC T-connectors, uses Master/Slave DIP configuration, and supports 128-bit AES encryption with IEEE 1901 Wavelet-OFDM for stable long-distance transmission. The device offers plug-and-play operation with 10/100 Mbps auto-negotiation, VLAN transparency, multicast pass-through, and variable performance based on distance, powered by a 12V DC adapter.
The LRE-104 extends Ethernet over coax, phone wire, or UTP for IP migration without rewiring using a Master/Slave setup. It uses IEEE 1901 Wavelet-OFDM with 128-bit AES encryption for stable, secure long-distance transmission. Multiple devices can share one link via the 4-port switch, and daisy-chaining reduces cabling while bandwidth decreases with distance.
Compact unit 154.6 × 86.0 × 26.3 mm, 347 g and operating from 0°C to 50°C with 5–95% non-condensing humidity and powered by a 12V DC, 1A adapter. It requires Master/Slave DIP configuration for point-to-point setup and supports either UTP or BNC long-reach mode (not simultaneously). Designed for Cat5 UTP or 75Ω coax (RG-6/RG-59) cabling with up to 1522-byte frame support. Includes LED status indicators, metal housing for desktop or wall mounting, and TAA compliance.
