Product Overview
The ACTi KCM-3311 is a 4MP IP day/night dome camera designed for detailed indoor surveillance and efficient video streaming. It combines a 1/3.2" progressive scan CMOS sensor, 3.6x zoom P-Iris lens, WDR, motion detection, privacy masking, and PoE support.

Technical Context
The P-Iris lens automatically adjusts incoming light to help maintain sharpness and depth of field. Region-of-interest streaming allows selected areas of the full image to be treated as independent channels, helping reduce bandwidth and recording load when only specific zones require continuous capture.
Installation Notes
Power over Ethernet allows power and data to be carried over a single Ethernet cable, simplifying installation where a nearby power outlet is not available.
