Product Overview
The ACTi KCM-7911 is a 4MP outdoor hemispheric IP camera designed for panoramic day/night surveillance. It uses a 1/2.5 in. Progressive Scan CMOS sensor, a 1.05mm fisheye lens, and ExDR/Advanced WDR technology to capture wide-area scenes with improved detail in high-contrast lighting.

Technical Context
The camera records up to 2032 x 1920 resolution at 6 fps and supports 1920 x 1080 video at 12 fps. Its mechanical IR cut filter supports color imaging down to 1.63 lux at F2.8 and monochrome imaging down to 0.06 lux at F2.8, while H.264 compression helps reduce bandwidth and storage demand.
Installation Notes
The KCM-7911 is built for outdoor panoramic coverage with an IP66 weatherproof enclosure. PoE simplifies installation by carrying both power and network data over a single Ethernet cable, and up to 6 regions of interest can be configured as independent streaming areas.
