This is an 'active' RS-485 data bus hub, designed for use in situations where an M1Gold or M1EZ8 control is being used to retrofit an older panel with multiple 4-conductor keypad/data wires. It splits the main RS-485 data bus into four managed RS-485 branches. Each branch can have two parallel homerun cables, for a total of eight homeruns. The end of each cable is EOL terminated to ensure proper operation and supervision.
