Digital Watchdog DWC-MC553WTIR is a Star-Light Plus 5MP UHDoC micro dome camera with a 1/2.8" CMOS sensor and 4.0mm fixed lens (82° FOV). It supports Universal HD over Coax technology with HD-Analog, HD-TVI, and HD-CVI signals. The camera delivers 5MP at 20 fps or 4MP at real-time 30 fps, features Star-Light Plus color in near-total darkness, True WDR (120dB), Smart IR up to 50 feet, IP66 dust-tight and water-resistant housing, and IK9 impact-resistant rating.

Control is simplified via UTC (Up-the-Coax), allowing for OSD adjustments directly through the DVR.
Technical Context
Engineered for stability, the camera maintains a high 55dB S/N ratio and features a mechanical IR cut filter for true day/night transition. It supports extreme weather image compensation (De-fog) and provides advanced gain control up to 72dB. The internal system is designed for broad compatibility, including built-in UTP and RS-485 support via UTC, and operates reliably in temperatures from -4°F to 122°F.
