The Digital Watchdog DWC-XSBC08Bi is a 4K MEGApix® Ai ultra-wide panoramic bullet camera designed for expansive situational awareness. It utilizes a 1/1.8" Star-Light Plus™ CMOS sensor to deliver 3840×2160 resolution at 30 fps, paired with a 2.3mm fixed lens providing a 175° horizontal field of view. This camera is both NDAA and TAA compliant, making it suitable for federal and high-security enterprise applications.

Powered by Ambarella CV22/CV25 chips with CVflow® architecture, this camera performs edge-based deep learning object detection for people, vehicles, and bags without manual calibration. It supports up to 40 separate detection zones and includes specialized analytics such as line crossing, intrusion, counting, and tailgating detection. Image quality is maintained through True WDR (120dB), Smart DNR™ 3D noise reduction, and Smart IR™ with a 100-foot range.
Technical Context
The camera features two-way audio, alarm I/O, and a microSD slot for local edge storage up to 1TB. It is ONVIF conformant for integration with DW Spectrum® IPVMS and includes a CVBS (BNC) local video output for onsite testing. Security is prioritized with HTTPS (TLS) encryption, 802.1x authentication, and IP/MAC filtering to ensure a secure network connection.
Installation Notes
Designed for extreme environments, the IP67 weather-resistant and IK09 impact-rated aluminum housing supports a ColdStart feature at -40°F when using DC power. It can be powered via PoE (802.3af) or 12VDC and operates in standard temperatures from -4°F to 122°F. The unit comes with a 5-year manufacturer's warranty, providing long-term reliability for professional security applications.
