- • Dual 10Gbps RJ45 Ports: Adds two high-speed copper Ethernet ports to your server. This provides a massive 20Gbps of potential bandwidth (in full duplex), which is essential for servers handling 100+ high-definition IP camera streams or high-speed video archiving.
- • Standard Cabling Compatibility: Unlike the SFP+ version, this card uses standard RJ45 connectors. This allows you to achieve 10Gbps speeds using your existing copper network infrastructure (up to 100 meters with Cat6a cabling) without the need for expensive fiber transceivers.
- • Compatibility: Validated specifically for IP-Only A-Series and Q-Series NVRs. It is also a frequent requirement for S-Series extended storage servers to ensure the "pipe" is wide enough to ingest massive amounts of video data from the primary recorders.
- • Factory-Only Restriction: This is not field-upgradeable. Like most high-performance exacqVision hardware expansions, it must be installed and tested at the factory during the initial build to ensure proper power allocation and airflow within the chassis.
- • Network Redundancy: Having dual 10G ports allows for NIC Teaming (Bonding), providing either double the bandwidth or a "failover" connection - if one cable is unplugged, the server stays online through the second port.
