  • · Scales across large multi-server and geographically distributed deployments
  • · Edge Storage synchronization restores missing video segments from camera SD cards after network interruptions
  • · Encrypted configuration traffic and digital watermarking help protect distributed evidence archives
  • · Global Event and Action rules can trigger cross-server alerts, layouts, macros, and physical relays
  • · Ready for optional GPU-powered facial recognition, license plate recognition, object classification, and weapon detection

Technical Context

CORTROL Global separates central governance from distributed recording, allowing administrators to manage cameras and servers across multiple sites through the Master Central Management Server. Standby nodes can assume recording or configuration responsibilities when an active server fails, while Edge Storage synchronization recovers video from compatible camera SD cards after connectivity is restored. Cross-server event rules allow an event on one node to trigger alerts, layouts, macros, or relay actions on another node, and optional GPU-powered VCA modules extend the system with facial recognition, license plate recognition, object classification, and weapon detection.

Installation Notes

The license is intended for a CORTROL Global deployment consisting of a central management server and one or more distributed recording nodes. Capacity can be expanded as additional servers and devices are added to the Global system.
