The 84-RKR1355-0010 is a scrambled keypad reader designed to enhance security during PIN entry. In standby mode, users can activate the keypad by touching any key or swiping a card, after which the digits 0–9 are displayed in a random order. This randomised layout ensures that only the person standing directly in front of the reader can see the digits, eliminating the risk of PIN codes being observed by onlookers. With both Wiegand and RS-485 interfaces, it can be seamlessly integrated into standard access control systems.
