This is an Ethernet extender kit that transmits data over coaxial or CAT5e/6 network cables. It supports 10/100 Mbps Ethernet and a proprietary EPOC mode with speeds up to 100 Mbps, though the available bandwidth decreases with distance. Transmission distance is up to 500 meters over 75-5 or better coaxial cable and up to 400 meters over CAT5e/6 cable. Ethernet delay is less than 1 ms. The device is powered by 48-57V DC, either via a PoE supply (supporting IEEE 802.3af/at, end-span and mid-span) or an adapter, with consumption under 2 watts. It includes ESD and anti-thunder protection compliant with specific IEC61000-4-2 and IEC61000-4-5 Level 3 standards. Operating temperature and ingress protection ratings are not specified.
