The CR8000EV is an edge video recorder designed for standard-definition analog camera systems, available in 8 or 16-channel configurations. It records using H.264 compression at resolutions up to 720x480, with a maximum recording rate of 240 images per second at CIF resolution. Video outputs include one composite monitor output and one VGA output, along with a composite spot monitor output.
The system includes basic alarm I/O, audio I/O, and serial ports for PTZ control. Storage is handled by a single internal SATA HDD bay supporting up to 4TB. Network connectivity is provided via an Ethernet port for remote viewing. It operates on an embedded Linux system within a temperature range of 5°C to 40°C, powered by 12V DC with a consumption of 4.16 Amps (approximately 50W).
