The DP-DE2108 is an 8-channel HD video encoder designed to update existing analogue camera systems by converting their signals into IP video streams. It accepts video input via eight BNC connections and supports analogue cameras with resolutions of up to 5MP (2560 x 1920). The video is encoded using H.265 or H.264 compression and can be streamed at high frame rates (e.g. 240ips at 1080p). A notable feature is Quadruple Streaming, enabling the generation of multiple independent video streams (e.g. main, sub and mobile) from each camera simultaneously for various applications such as recording, live viewing and remote monitoring. The encoder supports event triggers such as motion detection and tampering. The encoder connects via a Gigabit Ethernet port and can be powered by 12 V DC or Power over Ethernet (PoE, IEEE 802.3af). It operates within a temperature range of 0°C to 40°C (32°F to 104°F) and up to 90% humidity, consuming approximately 10 W.
