Innovative Multiple SFP Fiber Port Switch

The IGS-10080MFT is a state-of-the-art 10-Port Full Gigabit Managed Ethernet Switch that is crafted to help create a stable Gigabit backbone. The backbone can transmit dependable, high speed data in industries that have shifting environments. This also allows for the transmission of data to remote networks through fiber optic. The unit features a 8-Port 100/1000Base-X SFP fiber optic interface and 2 extra 10/100/1000Base-T copper interfaces and is housed in a strong IP30 case with a redundant power system. The unit can operate efficiently in temperatures ranging from -40 to 75°C.

 

Fully-Functional IPv6 / IPv4 Managed Switch

The IGS-10080MFT from Planet Technology is a choice solution to meet the requirement of  IPv6 management Gigabit Ethernet Switches, especially in industrial environments. The unit supports management features for IPv4 and IPv6 management functions. The IGS-10080MFT also includes Layer 2 to Layer 4 data switching and redundancy, Quality of Service traffic control, network access control and authentication, and Secure Management features to maintain industrial and automation network connectivity.

 

Fast Recovery to a Redundant Ethernet Network

The IGS-10080MFT features the a capability to stop interruptions and any outside intrusion. The unit includes Rapid Spanning Protocol (RSTP), Multiple Spanning Tree (MSTP) and the Loop protection function that shuts down specific Ethernet interfaces when loops are detected by the system. The unit’s dynamic port Link Aggregation and Redundant Power System are to the industrial automation network of customers in order to make system reliability and up time even more dependable. The unit protects industrial networks with the ability to recover the capability to implement fault tolerant ring architectures.

 

Flexible Solution

The unit features 8 mini-GBIC slots that are built in the IGS-10080MFT. These slots support Dual-Speed, 100Base-FX and 1000Base-SX/LX SFP (Small Form-factor Pluggable) fiber-optic modules, which allows users to choose the right SFP transceiver according to the transmission distance or the transmission speed.
