The Planet GS-4210-16P4C is a managed Gigabit PoE+ switch featuring 16 IEEE 802.3at PoE+ ports with a 220W total budget and 4 Gigabit TP/SFP combo ports, all backed by a 40 Gbps switching fabric. It supports IPv6/IPv4 dual stack, intelligent PoE functions including PD alive check, scheduled power recycling, usage monitoring, and Extend mode for 250m transmission, plus 2 smart fans for thermal management and comprehensive Layer 2 security features.

This managed PoE+ switch delivers a 220W budget across 16 ports, powering up to 14 devices at 15.4W or 7 at 30W. Extend mode enables 250m transmission at 10Mbps, while PD alive check auto-recycles power to unresponsive devices. It also supports scheduled PoE on/off, recycling, and usage monitoring, with derating from 220W @ 25°C to 190W @ 50°C. Max consumption is 251W (861 BTU), cooled by 2 smart fans with 6KV ESD protection.
The switch features IPv6/IPv4 dual stack, VLAN (802.1Q with 256 groups, Q-in-Q, voice, protocol, private VLAN), and link aggregation (4 groups, 8 ports each). Multicast uses IGMP v2/v3 snooping and MLD v1/v2, while QoS offers 8 priority queues with strict/WRR scheduling. Security includes 802.1X, RADIUS/TACACS+, DHCP snooping, IP source guard, ARP inspection, and ACLs. Four combo SFP ports support copper/fibre uplinks up to 120km with SFP-DDM.
The 1U metal chassis (440 × 300 × 44.5 mm, 4.132kg) operates at 0–50°C with 5–95% RH and stores at -20–70°C.
