The Fiber Training Box is a compact, practical tool designed to provide fibre optic technicians with hands-on experience of real-world scenarios. It features built-in loss events, such as a macrobend and a damaged fibre optic cable, to simulate common issues encountered in the field. With a 1 km fibre link containing a mid-point fault, technicians can practise OTDR setup, testing and troubleshooting. Additional fibre spools allow technicians to practise fusion splicing and loss testing, developing essential fibre optic skills.
