LILIN VS212 Video Encoder is a compact and easy-to-use 1-channel video encoder with good video performance; it turns an analogue video system into a network video system and enables users to view live images using a Web browser or video management software on any local or remote computer on a network. It can simplify migration to network video without upgrading existing camera systems. LILIN VS212 provides edge storage through a SD/SDHC memory card slot. It supports all types of analog cameras including PTZ (pan/tilt/zoom) domes.
The video encoder features RS-485 for controlling analog cameras. It is designed for installation close to the cameras. Its size makes it ideal for use in discreet surveillance applications, for instance, in retail stores and banks, and in camera housings. LILIN VS212 can deliver 4 simultaneous video streams. The H.264 video compression format drastically reduces bandwidth and storage requirements without compromising image quality.
