The PDK Red 1 is a single-door access control controller with integrated Ethernet networking, onboard power management, and support for secure credential technologies. Key Features

Technical Context
The integrated power supply simplifies deployment by powering connected devices directly from the controller. Continuous system diagnostics monitor input power, output loads, battery condition, and operational status to identify faults in real time. Secure reader communication is provided through OSDP, while optional WiMAC technology enables encrypted wireless connectivity with extended-range communication capabilities for locations where cabling is impractical.
Installation Notes
The controller is housed in a lockable metal enclosure for indoor use and operates on 12–24V DC power with an included 14VDC adapter. It supports Ethernet self-discovery, optional PoE++ or WiMAC connectivity, removable field-wiring terminals, and operation from -20°C to +60°C. A backup battery is required for UL 294 compliance.
