Planet FT-802S15 is a 10/100TX to 100Base-FX fiber media converter with SC single-mode connector, 1310nm wavelength, and 15km maximum distance. Features LFP (Link Fault Pass-through) with LLCF and LLR functions, DIP switch for FX duplex mode selection, and compact metal housing.
LFP with LLCF/LLR propagates link failure between copper and fiber ports for reliable fault handling. FX duplex mode and LFP function are configurable via DIP switches for flexible compatibility. Supports IEEE 802.3x full-duplex flow control and back-pressure in half-duplex mode. LED indicators show power, fiber, and copper link/activity, speed, duplex, and collision status. Built in compact anti-corrosion metal housing with electrostatic coating, certified FCC Class A and CE Class A.
Small form factor device (97 × 69 × 26 mm, 0.2 kg) with 0–50°C operating range and extended storage to -40°C. Powered by a 5V DC adapter (100–240V AC) and supports Cat5 up to 100m and single-mode fibre up to 15km. DIP switches enable FX duplex and LFP control, while LEDs provide real-time status for power, fibre, and copper link/activity and link state.
