Product Overview

The PDK Red CloudNode is a cloud-managed access control controller with built-in Ethernet self-discovery and WiMAC wireless connectivity (2.4 GHz/802.15.4). It includes an onboard power supply, a fully supervised power circuit, and can function as a single-door controller. The unit features a 2A Form-C relay, reader interface, Input A and Input B connections, and removable screw-down terminals for field wiring.

Key Features

CloudNode acts as a main controller for both standalone and multi-door access control systems. It supports automatic over-the-air updates for ongoing security and feature improvements, and is managed through the PDK.io cloud platform from any internet-connected device. WiMAC wireless allows daisy-chaining of additional Red controllers without Ethernet cabling, while Ethernet self-discovery removes the need for manual IP setup. The onboard power system provides full supervision of voltage, current, battery, and controller health, and OSDP ensures secure reader communication.

Installation Notes

Lockable indoor metal enclosure (7.625" × 10.4375" × 3"), powered by 12–24V DC with included 14VDC 2A supply. Supports Ethernet self-discovery and WiMAC wireless (up to 1 mile LoS / 450 ft indoor) for multi-controller linking. Works as standalone or main multi-door controller, requires backup battery for UL 294 compliance, and includes 1–5 year warranty.
