It is managed from a browser with no client software to install, runs an embedded Linux operating system, and is ETL-listed in accordance with the UL-294 standard for Access Control System Units. Technical Context
Browser-based management removes the client-software step from commissioning: the controller serves its own configuration interface, so a laptop with any browser is enough to set up a door. The ETL listing against UL-294 matters where the installation must satisfy an authority having jurisdiction, since UL-294 is the standard access control equipment is judged against in North America.
