TRENDnet’s compact 1000BASE-T to Dual SFP Fibre Media Converter with Redundant Mode TFC-G21SFP converts a 1000BASE-T (copper, 1 Gbps) Ethernet connection to two 1 G BASE-SX/LX (fibre) SFP media connections, and vice versa. The 1000BASE-T RJ-45 port on the SFP transceiver supports full-duplex 1 Gbps connections at wire speed. The dual SFP ports allow for uplink redundancy in the event of a failure on one of the SFP ports. The SFP ports support both multimode (SX) and single-mode (LX) SFP modules.
