The IPC2B28SA-ADZK-WP-PI-I2A camera features a high-quality 8 MP (3840 × 2160) 1/1.8" CMOS sensor, providing ultra-high definition video at a maximum frame rate of 30 frames per second. The optical system utilizes a motorized varifocal lens with a focal range of 2.7 mm to 13.5 mm, 5X optical zoom. This configuration yields an adjustable horizontal field of view ranging from 104.7° (wide) to 49.1° (tele). The lens incorporates a sophisticated P-iris for precise control of the aperture and depth of field. For night operation, the camera is equipped with Smart IR illumination capable of reaching a distance of 80 meters. It supports multiple video compression formats, including Ultra 265, H.265, H.264, and MJPEG, and can transmit up to five independent video streams.
Image processing features include 130 dB Wide Dynamic Range, which processes scenes with strong lighting contrast to ensure detail is maintained in both bright and dark areas. 2D/3D Digital Noise Reduction is applied to clean up visual noise, particularly in low-light conditions. Other supported image controls are Backlight Compensation, Highlight Compensation, Digital Defog, Electronic Image Stabilization, and various White Balance settings. The camera is constructed for robust outdoor installation, carrying an IP67 ingress protection rating against dust and water immersion, and an IK10 vandal resistance rating against high-impact damage. The operational temperature range is specified from -30 °C to 60 °C (-22 °F to 140 °F). Power can be supplied via DC 12 V or Power over Ethernet, with a maximum power consumption of 12.5 W.
