The Uniview NVR508-32X-IQ is a professional 32-channel network video recorder supporting Ultra 265, H.265, and H.264 video formats with recording resolutions up to 8MP. It provides advanced AI functions, multi-monitor output, high-throughput network connectivity, and expanded RAID storage for demanding surveillance installations.
The recorder supports three HDMI outputs, one VGA output, ANR recording reliability, cloud upgrades, and intelligent search functions including face, vehicle, behavior, people-counting, and heat-map analysis.

Technical Context
The recorder combines camera-side analytics with NVR-based processing. Depending on the connected cameras and selected analytic mode, it can process face recognition, smart intrusion prevention, ultra-motion detection, people counting, plate comparison, traffic monitoring, video metadata, and behavior searches. Eight SATA bays with RAID support provide flexible storage expansion and data resilience for large multi-camera deployments.
Installation Notes
Install the recorder in a ventilated rack or equipment cabinet with adequate clearance around the fan and radiator. It operates from AC 100–240V at -10°C to 50°C with up to 90% non-condensing humidity. Install compatible SATA surveillance HDDs and configure the required RAID level before recording. Use the independent HDMI/VGA outputs to connect local monitoring displays and segment network traffic across the two Gigabit interfaces.
