This is a 4MP license plate recognition camera designed for vehicle access control. It features a 1/1.8-inch CMOS sensor and a 10mm to 50mm motorized varifocal lens, allowing the horizontal field of view to be adjusted from 34.3° down to 8.7° to focus on lanes at various distances. It captures a main video stream of 2688 x 1520 at up to 60 frames per second.
The imaging includes 120 dB Wide Dynamic Range and 3D Digital Noise Reduction to handle glare and low light. For night-time operation, it uses integrated warm light LEDs with a range of 50 meters to provide color illumination for better plate recognition. Its primary function is video-based license plate recognition for vehicles up to 80 km/h, managing allowlists and blocklists of up to 20,000 entries each, and triggering its two relay outputs to control barriers. The housing is rated IP67 for dust/water and IK10 for vandal resistance. It operates in an extended temperature range of -40°C to 60°C and can be powered by DC 12V or PoE+ (802.3at), with a maximum power draw of 20 watts.
