The CyberPower BP48VP2U01 is a rack/tower convertible Extended Battery Module (EBM) that extends battery runtimes during power outages and is designed for the following UPS systems: PR750LCDRTXL2U, PR750RTXL2U, PR1000LCDRTXL2U, PR1000RTXL2U, PR1500LCDRTXL2UA, PR750RTXL2UC, PR1000RTXL2UC.
This EBM takes 2U of rack space and can be installed in either a rack or tower configuration to match the UPS form factor. Battery equalization technology improves battery life, and toolless battery panel access makes battery replacement fast and simple.

- Extended Battery Module: Expands runtime and quickly restores full backup power with Fast Charge Technology.
- Battery Equalization Technology: Battery Equalization is an advanced charging process that maintains the voltages of the batteries at the same level to increase battery life.
- Fast Charge Technology: Allows UPS batteries to return to full capacity more rapidly by using a built-in charger inside of each UPS or EBM.
- Toolless Battery Panel Access: Makes battery replacement fast and simple. The faceplate features side latches for easy removal, and captive screws can be loosened by hand to open the battery cover.
- Hot-Swappable Batteries: Eliminates power-related downtime and ensures maximum power availability. All potential UPS maintenance, including complete power module exchange, can be performed without powering down connected equipment.
- Rack/Tower Configuration: Allows for horizontal rack or vertical tower installation.
