GeoVision's License Plate Recognition (LPR) solution is efficient and low-maintenance, providing an effective way to safeguard parking lots susceptible to criminal activity due to unattended corners. In response to a motion or I/O trigger, the LPR solution provides high-resolution video surveillance and detects and recognises licence plates. The GV-ASManager access control system receives license plate recognition results from GV LPR devices such as Edge GV-IP LPR cameras, GV-DSP LPRs and PC-based GV-NVR LPR/VMS LPRs. Access can only be granted if the detected licence plate numbers match those on file in the GV-ASManager database. When an LPR event occurs, you can view the recorded video and receive alerts via email or push notifications.
