The DC-S6882WR is an 8MP (3840x2160) IR speed dome camera featuring a 1/1.8" CMOS sensor and an auto-focus zoom lens with a 6.91-214.64mm focal length. Its horizontal field of view ranges from 61.8° at wide-angle to 2.3° at telephoto. The camera is equipped with IR LEDs providing illumination up to 300 meters, supporting operation down to 0 lux in B/W mode with IR on. It provides video output via a terminal block and supports H.265, H.264, and M-JPEG compression formats at up to 30 fps in 4K resolution with quadruple streaming.
The image processing features include 120dB True WDR, electronic image stabilization (EIS), defog, and configurable image settings. The unit has a motorized PTZ mechanism with 360° endless pan, 200° tilt (-10° to +190°), and 256 presets. It is built for harsh environments with an IP66 ingress protection rating and IK10 vandal resistance. The operating temperature range is -40°C to +55°C (starting up above -20°C). Power can be supplied via 24VAC or PoE IEEE 802.3bt (Class 8), with maximum power consumption reaching approximately 53W when the heater and IR LEDs are active.
