The Vigitron Vi30208 is a hardened industrial PoE switch with a data rate of up to 2.5 Gbps for handling fibre optic uplink ports. It supports program data for each fibre and copper port, as well as Power over Ethernet for copper ports. This provides flexibility in meeting application requirements for six independent PoE ports. The PoE network switch operates in temperatures ranging from -40°C to +70°C. The device can monitor and report on the temperature of each port individually.
The Vi30208 can accept up to 495 W of DC power. It provides 90W of IEEE 802.3bt-compliant PoE power on all six copper ports. It has a maximum total PoE power budget of 480 W. This enables it to power the most demanding PoE applications, such as PTZ domes, LED lighting and wireless products. Up to six ports can be programmed to provide PoE for maximum installation flexibility. The Vi30208 undergoes rigorous testing to ensure its suitability for critical transportation and traffic applications. Its intelligent PoE management system prioritises maximum power allocation from port 1 onwards. Dual copper and fibre uplinks allow for straightforward integration into ring network configurations, making it ideal for use in road and perimeter security applications.
