The TRENDnet Industrial Outdoor 10G SFP+ to 10G PoE++ Media Converter (95W) model TI-OBF711 converts long-distance fibre connections to copper connections while providing power to PoE-, PoE+ and PoE++-compliant devices such as IP cameras, VoIP phones and wireless access points. When paired with the TEG-10GBS20, this outdoor media converter can transmit data over a distance of up to 20 km (12.42 mi). With an operating temperature range of -40° to 75°C (-40° to 167°F) and a hardened IP67-rated metal housing, the industrial outdoor media converter is suitable for tough industrial environments. The rugged design of the outdoor PoE++ media converter also provides protection from shock, freefall and vibration.
