This device is a 16-channel Network Video Recorder engineered for medium-scale surveillance systems with a focus on high performance and AI analytics. It provides broad camera compatibility through support for DirectIP™, ONVIF™, and third-party brands. The unit simplifies installation by integrating eight Power over Ethernet ports compliant with IEEE 802.3at, Class 4, which deliver both data and up to 50.4 watts total power to connected cameras. An additional Gigabit Ethernet port is available for extending the system with an external switch.
A defining capability is its powerful processing of AI metadata from compatible cameras. It natively handles Intelligent Deep Learning Analytics for functions such as object detection, intrusion, loitering, line crossing, and face detection, and supports Business Intelligence rules for monitoring occupancy limits and social distancing. The NVR records video at resolutions up to 12 Megapixels with a maximum throughput of 180 Mbps and delivers a smooth 4K Ultra High Definition live viewing experience with a display speed of up to 480 images per second. It also supports comprehensive playback with 16-channel synchronous and 8-channel 4K playback. Storage is facilitated by two internal SATA hard drive bays and an eSATA port for expansion.
