Designed for high-end security applications, particularly those involving low-light conditions where image quality is critical, Lumenera's Le165 series of megapixel cameras offers a straightforward plug-and-play installation process. The intuitive user interface can be viewed with most web browsers and provides standard camera control. Capturing full 1376x1032 resolution at 15 fps, the Le165 delivers outstanding picture quality and performance. It provides adjustable JPEG-compressed still images or live MJPEG-streaming video across a standard 10/100BaseT network interface. Images can be transferred via FTP, RTP or HTTP.
The I/O connector provides an interface to an external alarm sensor or for controlling peripheral equipment such as IR lighting and PTZ. Email or UDP alarm notifications provide the date, time and camera IP address. On-board memory buffers supply still images via FTP before and after alarm events, and programmable day/night settings automatically switch to enhanced low-light mode. An optional true day/night module provides an automatic sliding IR cut filter. When integrated with NIR illuminators, the Le165 provides superior night-time performance.
