This 5-megapixel fixed-focus vandal-resistant dome camera has been specifically engineered for use in harsh transportation and industrial environments. It uses a 1/2.7" CMOS sensor paired with a fixed 6 mm lens to provide a horizontal field of view of 50 degrees, offering a narrower, more focused perspective than a wider-angle camera. The camera features onboard AI for people detection and includes built-in IR illuminators with an effective range of up to 50 metres. The camera is powered by a system on a chip with 2 GB of RAM.
It supports H.265, H.264 and MJPEG compression, offering a maximum frame rate of 30 fps at 5 MP. Power redundancy is offered via IEEE 802.3af PoE for the camera, as well as a dedicated 24 V DC input for an integrated heater. The total maximum power consumption is 60.54 W. Its rugged casing is rated IP68/IP6K9K, IK10+ and NEMA 4X, meeting stringent railway and vehicle standards such as EN 50155. It operates from -40°C to 70°C with IR on.
