The TRENDnet Outdoor 2.5G PoE++ Surge Protector model TI-OS300 is installed in line with Ethernet cabling to prevent electrical surges caused by lightning strikes, electrical overloads and faulty or damaged wiring from damaging internal low-voltage network devices. The surge protector supports networking speeds of up to 2.5 Gbps and PoE++ devices with a power budget of up to 95 W. It also features an IP67-rated metal enclosure, a detachable mounting bracket and Ethernet cable glands for water protection. Its wide operating temperature range of -40°–75°C (-40°–167°F) makes it suitable for outdoor installations.
